There's good news for fans of TV show CID. Shivaji Satam who played the iconic character ACP Pradyuman recently revealed that the makers are talking to revive the show.!!
Yes you heard it right. After running for 21 years, one of India's longest running TV show CID all of a sudden vanished from small screen in 2018. Since then, the fans of the show have been binge-watching its re-runs and demanding makers to bring back the show with new season!! According to sources talks are going on to revive CID with a new format. This has been confirmed by none other than ACP Pradyuman AKA Shivaji Satam.
There have also been several rumours that the cop drama may be revived with the same cast. Giving clarity on the same, Shivaji Satam told Hindustan Times, “Producers are talking to revive CID in a different kind of format. Yes, talks are on, but there is nothing concrete. It’s still in the air.”
Shivaji Satam said that there are no interesting roles for actors of his age. “We can’t do anything. It’s my bad luck that no powerful characters are being written. It’s a loss on both sides. As an actor, I miss out on good work and the audience misses out on good actors,” he said. When asked if he is ready to play ACP Pradyuman, the actor said, “Tomorrow (if) CID starts again, I’ll be right in the front to do the project. I’m not tired of playing the character, but tired of being home.
