Parth and Niti, who were seen in Kaisi Hai Yaariyan, where Parth played the role of Maanik Malhotra and featured alongside Niti, who played Nandini Murthy, the love interest of the former, won hearts for the roles. Here we are back with an exciting update read out : Sasural Genda Phool 2 to get a slightly longer rope. L ooking at Sasural Genda Phool's abysmal ratings ( 0.2), many expect this show to meet itz waterloo very soon. However, the end might not happen very soon as our informed source whispers in our ears that the possible replacement show i.e. Rajan Shahi 'snew Star Bharat show starring Shaheer Shiekh, is not yet ready, and it will take more time to go ON AIR!!    Having said all the channel mandarins have indeed given Sasural Genda Phool makers( Mitali Bhattacharya Romit Ojha) a head-up warning.  Star Bharat would have expected much better ratings from the Sasural Genda Phool 2 for its original show had a cult following when it aired on Star Plus from 2010 to 2012.   We unsuccessfully tried to speak to Jai and Supriya ji our calls to the channel spokesperson also went unanswered!! Here we are back with an exciting update read out : Sai Ketan Rao, who was last seen in the show Mehndi Hai Rachne Waali, has been approached to play the male lead in Chikoo Ki Mummy Durr Kei.  As we earlier reported about this, recently in an interview by India Forums Actor confirms the news.  The show Chikoo Ki Mummy Durr Kei gearing up to take a 10-year leap and that it will have a new name for the lead character. Delhi girl Simran Tomar is going to play the role of grown-up Chikoo in the show. While Simran is finalised for the female lead.  Actor said to India forums : "Yes I have been approached for the show but nothing is finalised. I have to schedule dates." The show will take a leap and lead actors Paridhi Sharma and Himanshu Malhotra will no longer be part of it.
